Porto won the Europa League final by dominating their Portuguese neighbors Braga in Dublin.
Braga got their chances in the initial stages of the game but they didn’t manage to cash it. Braga held out until 44 minutes Falcao scored the goal. Later on this remains a decisive goal at the end of the match.
The 33 years old, Porto Head Coach, Andre Villas Boas, became the youngest coach to win the trophy. After the game Andre Villas Boas said that
“Without a doubt this is a great feat. We have one trophy left for a memorable season.
“This has a huge emotional impact for us. Round after round, we kept believing more. Porto becomes an even more special club, even more unique.”
“It adds another trophy, which is important and builds its future.”
This is the second major trophy of Porto this season, they already won their league title.
