Spain won Euro Under-21 Championship

Spain won the European Under-21 Championship with a 2-0 victory over Switzerland in the final at the Aarhus Stadium, Denmark.

Spain took the lead in the final 41st mint when Ander Herrera  score goal of Didac Vila’s cross. This was the first goal the Swiss had conceded in the championships in Denmark.

Swiss player tried their best to equal the score line but didn’t find the net. But a sensational 40-yard free-kick from Barcelona’s Italy born youngster Thiago Alcantara nine minutes from time sealed it for the Spanish.

Martinez  jubilantly lifted the cup as Spain. Who already won the FIFA World Cup 2010 and European Championship winners at senior level.
